1. General Information about the Embassy of Japan in Central African Republic

The Embassy of Japan in Cameroon is also accredited to the Central African Republic.

2.Bilateral Relations

Following the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan the Central African Republic on the 13th of August 1960, the Embassy of the Central African Republic was opened in Japan in June 1968 and the Japanese Embassy in Bangui in January 1974. The Embassy in Central African Republic was closed in 1992, and the Embassy of Japan in Cameroon covers the Central African Republic since 2005.
