On February 24, 2023, the Handing Over Ceremony for the "Newborn Survival Project" took place at the Chantal BIYA Foundation Mother and Child Centre. HE Ambassador Takaoka, Mr. BOUKAR OUMATE, Inspector General of Administrative Services of the Ministry of Public Health; Mrs. Habissou BIDOUNG MPKATT, Secretary General of the Chantal BIYA Foundation; Pr Paul KOKI, Director of the Mother and Child Center; other authorities and health care personnel were present.
Eight incubators, two phototherapy tunnels, one hematology machine and one semi-automatic immuno-analysis machine (Chorus Trio) were granted.
