Visit to Oita Prefecture (May 31 – June 1, 2026)

From May 31st to June 1st, Ambassador Minami visited Oita Prefecture, which has maintained exchanges with Cameroon since the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
During his stay, he paid a courtesy visit to Governor SATO Kiichiro of Oita Prefecture and Mayor ADACHI Shinya of Oita City. He also met with members of the Oita–Cameroon Friendship Association (FACO) with whom he exchanged views on various areas of cooperation between Cameroon and Oita Prefecture, particularly in the economic field.
