From July 31 to August 2, Ambassador Minami visited Douala, Cameroon.
During his stay, he gave an interview to the local media Balafon TV. He also visited Japan House Cameroon (JHC), a Japanese language school, before being received at the traditional chiefdom of Canton Bell, one of Douala’s main traditional communities. These various meetings provided an opportunity to discuss ways of strengthening exchanges between Japan and Cameroon in a number of sectors, with a particular focus on cultural cooperation.
