On 21 August, H.E. Ambassador Minami Kentaro, Ambassador of Japan to Cameroon, and his spouse welcomed to their residence students and chaperones from Bitame Lucia International School who participated in the Japan-Africa Youth Program, for a debriefing session.

Over about ten days in Japan, the students discovered the country’s culture, nature, history, and technological advances, stayed with host families in Nagano Prefecture, and interacted with Japanese high school students.

During the session, participants shared their experiences and what they learned from the trip. Ambassador Minami expressed his pleasure at the success of the program, in which the students had represented Cameroon during their visit to Japan, and encouraged them to continue serving as bridges of friendship between Japan and Cameroon in the future.

👏 Congratulations to the students and their chaperones on this wonderful experience!
